The Sandra Randall School of Dancing was formed in 1985. The principal & sole teacher Sandra Randall began her dancing career at the age of 2 and obtained excellent training from Miss Nancy Robinson (branch chairman for many years of the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing) and worked her way through the ISTD examinations.

Sandra was offered a place at the world famous Italia Conti Academy and eventually became Head Girl of the entire school. She graduated from Italia Conti having obtained her teaching qualification.

Sandra worked in Theatre and on Television in London and all over the UK, as a professional dancer. She became a lead singer in an International Cabaret act touring all over the world; including Africa & Dubai. Sandra left the group having been offered a place in the Hit Musical “Singing in the Rain” at the world famous London Palladium; staring Tommy Steele and Roy Castle, in the heart of the West End – before opening the Sandra Randall School of Dancing in 1985.

Having worked professionally herself, Sandra encourages any child wanting to audition for professional productions.

The school has an auditions board which displays information regarding auditions for forthcoming Shows, Television work etc. Sandra offers her pupils the opportunity to take exams and progress to a high standard of dance, keeping pupils in touch with any professional auditions for shows.

Past pupils have gained entry to the Royal Ballet School, West End Shows, Pantomime and University Dance Courses. Having been trained by Sandra since the age of 5, one male pupil was accepted for full time training at the Royal Ballet School and is now working professionally as a solo dancer in the Royal Ballet Company.
